To my not so dear 'Self doubt'

Dear self doubt,You know what?
you have made me hate myself
I kept on killing my dreams,
But never asked for help.

Look how ugly you are
The mirror always had me scream
I forgot how to love
sympathy became the scheme.

"You can't write,you can't speak,you can't read"
I had it all checked
Never thought of setting myself free
millions of smiles i faked

Now that i survived all by myself
through the crazy night
I won't let you break me
At least not without putting up a fight.

To my future daughter

I know,
You're  yet not here
This world is yet not ready
To accept you,
As this world haven't yet learnt
To give the respect ,Where it is due.


I know,
They will not let you fit in
The journey will not be easy
Roads will hit you hard,
Hard enough to make you crazy;;

I know,
There will be days,when
You will question your own worth;
Don't reach them for answers,
They'll make you move heaven and earth;;

There will not be a single day
Without you being abased by them
Your height,your weight,your skin color;for all
they will make, you feel ashamed;;

Remember;
Though few  will push you back,
Few will surely hold your hand;
Don't forget to show them your worth,
By taking your own stand;;

Show them;
 Who your are,
Bring out the fierce queen;
It's not always the knight in armour,
Sometimes you fight on your own and win.

The bridge of light.!!

He was the street of fire,
I was the bridge of light;
Once we met each other
All i had, is to offer a sit beside .

Slowly the time happened ;
With it happened the fate,,
We both remained our selves;
For a change,it was too late.

now i am a part of a story
He is the verse of someone's poem
We are playing each other's part
It is called the life game.

I brought myself to the deepest sea
To reach where,the moon's shadow fight
I don't know about the street of fire,
I am still the bridge of light..
