One last gift

i  hate  the  way  it  ended
but  never questioned  my  love  for  you
though  it  was supposed to  last  longer
I guess i paid what  was  due

the  parts  we  played , for a while
it deceived  me  to  believe  in  fairytale 
my inner demons were waiting all this time,
came  out  as  soon as they  saw  us  fail

painting  a  dream  full  of  happiness 
seemed like  an  easy  job  at first 
i  looked  around  for a  rebound 
without knowing my choice has been cursed.

Now when i look back at the hell
I was enjoying, fooled by temptation
Wish i could give you one last kiss
As a return gift for the gained salvation

The misunderstood vaginas

They walked down the street,
With eyes attached to their bodies.
They shook their bodies,  protesting,
No one seemed to care though.

Skirt higher from knee level,
Look at the way she's walking!
They heard each and every eye talking,
"Where is your sanskar, you hoe?"

They talk with many boys at a time,
Go on dates and Flirt with a few,
They have been part of many hookups.
For them the word 'sex' is easy to chew

They are someone's daughter, wife or sister,
They are the women of the new Dawn to come.
They are celebrated by the 'People' they love
But only bodies attached to vaginas for some.

"We want to be loved desperately,
And we want to give back the same;
Cause we know how it feels to be unwanted"

The problem of being Apolitical

I have heard people boasting about being Apolitical and i have friends and family members who think being Apolitical is the best thing you can do.
You know i really feel bad when i hear and see such people, cause if we the voters will not be political then who will be. People don't understand that being political doesn't mean you have to be a spokesperson of some party all need to do is to be aware of what's happening around you and what's  the present political scenario of your country.  Cause if you will be Apolitical then you will automatically be indifferent about things which is related to politics and you will never question the 'leaders' and so called 'Desh sevaks' of country. The biggest problem this will cause is the leaders who are already lazy enough to not do anything for us will stop doing whatever little they have to do to retain their power. So even if you don't support a party please be politically Aware of what's going on around you. So that next time a certain neta does or says something politically incorrect you confront that person.

Shadows

I have been thinking a lot about shadows lately,
And what made me fall in love with them,
You may ask, and i will smile and smile,
And show you a leaf attach to a detached stem

You will look at me, as if i have gone mad
Nothing about me seems right, and here
You give another chance to feed my soul
With subtlety, and some how it's very clear.

Going back to the leaf i showed you,
Have you even noticed how it never leaves
The stem until the last breath, even when
The tree disown them, i believe it relives.
 
The millions beautiful shapes, and cul-de-sac
Of shadows roaming in the street at night
That is why i think it is the most wonderful
Thing on earth,at least they are worth the fight.
